As you may have already guessed, the main focus of this blog is Cyberpunk in Second Life. I know, kind of a niche, but still, I really enjoy exploring it and have a feeling it may be back on an upswing, although that remains to be seen. For now, I'll be working on visiting the existing Cyberpunk sims in Second Life, doing a bit of documentation about them, and just keeping track of those that have de-rezzed into oblivion....

What is Second Life (SL)? Well, the short answer is it a online community with really good graphics. You'll hear a lot of other descriptions of SL, but basically you go in, make an avatar, do stuff, spend money (SL used "Lindens" (named after the original SL creator)), and such. If you want to build things, SL is a great place for it. If you want to meet people, again, SL is great. Be aware, there is quite a bit of nudity in SL, so if you are unused to that, buckle your seat belt, as you'll likely see a good amount of it.
I enjoy working the photographic aspect of SL. Constantly improving my photographic and graphic software skill sets, but in time I'll be serviceable enough for my own purposes. Still, if you're unfamiliar with SL, there is a bit of a learning curve to it (about 15-20 minutes in-world), then you can start exploring a new world... hope to see you there!
